Sound Wealth Advisors works with Fidelity Clearing & Custody Solutions(R) (FCCS) for brokerage and custody services.

A custodian is a financial institution that has a legal responsibility for a client's securities, including the management and protection of assets.  They also provide the trading platform and access to wealth management resources to meet the needs of firms such as Sound Wealth Advisors.  During our long, extensive due diligence process, there were three differentiators that separated Fidelity from the rest.

Fidelity will provide you with a clear, consolidated monthly statement that reflects all of your investment positions and transactions.  They also offer helpful online financial tools.

SECURITY

71 Year track record

Fidelity has a 71-year track record of maintaining a high level of integrity in providing brokerage and custody services—along with privacy protection of client assets and information. They also provide additional insurance protection for your assets. While these are also covered by the Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC), Fidelity provides supplemental protection that covers your accounts over and above SIPC coverage. SIPC does not cover losses in the market.

INNOVATION

First-Hand

Experience

We saw first-hand and were inspired by Fidelity’s annual $2 billion technology investment that drives ongoing innovation to better collaborate with and serve you.

REPUTATION

Strong Capital

Structure

Fidelity has a solid reputation and is not a bank.  They do not have trading desks taking the opposite side of client trades, and they do not push pre-packaged proprietary solutions.  They do provide checking, debit cards, and credit lines with their accounts. One of Fidelity’s advantages is that they are privately owned and have a very strong capital structure. This allows them to take advantage of opportunities without the worries of missing earnings estimates that typically plague many publicly owned companies.

Fidelity will provide you with a clear, consolidated monthly statement that reflects all of your investment positions and transactions.  They also offer robust online tools.

Fidelity Clearing & Custody Solutions provides clearing custody, or other brokerage services through National Financial Services LLC or Fidelity Brokerage Services LLC, Members NYSE, SIPC.
